NorthGate Partners with Life Challenge Ministries to Change Lives for the Better
Life Challenge Ministries is a one-year, residential rehabilitation center providing hope, healing, and help to men and women with drug, alcohol, and other life-controlling addictions. Live Challenge Ministries rehabilitates through the source of their guiding principals – the teachings of Jesus Christ. With an emphasis on Bible study, counseling, and Christian community, Life Challenge Ministries endeavor to enrich lives by helping men & women, get & stay, clean & sober.
Impressed by their mission and success stories, Northgate President, George Wilkinson, met with friend and Life Challenge Director, Phil Hall to see how we could help. “At NorthGate, we have a desire to help the people in the community we serve,” Mr. Wilkinson explains. These values dovetail perfectly with an integral part of Life Challenge Ministries’ rehabilitation program; a requirement for their participants to work in the community. Upon completion of the program, participants who volunteer at NorthGate and perform well have an opportunity to apply for employment and/or use their NorthGate experience on their resumes. We are thrilled to have 19 individuals from Life Challenge Ministries currently working with us.
Our hope is that this partnership might prove beneficial and life changing for men and women in crisis by allowing them to free themselves from addiction while providing the opportunity for personal, spiritual growth.
