To strengthen the workforce, better serve clients and give back to the community, NorthGate launched Be Ready Employee Enrichment Services in 2018. Be Ready is designed to help individuals overcome barriers to success and take them from unemployment to employment and meaningful lifelong careers.
NorthGate founder Jack Goggins’ business philosophy was summarized in his favorite expression, “Be Ready.” This phrase inspired the name of Be Ready Enrichment Services, as a fitting tribute to Mr. Goggins’ legacy and the entire organization’s commitment to employees and the community.
NorthGate’s mission to Bless People, Be Prosperous and Be the Best could not happen without a commitment to employees. The NorthGate Enrichment Center (NEC) was built as the home base for NorthGate’s pioneering Be Ready Enrichment Services. While the NEC is the home base for this activity, these services take place throughout all three NorthGate locations.
NorthGate’s Be Ready Enrichment Services is designed to develop employees’ skill sets to position them for personal and professional growth. From dream coaches to financial planning, we provide employees with all the training, support and after-hire tools needed to help them succeed.

Be Ready Enrichment Services focus on adding value to associate training, personal development and work barrier removal, while preparing individuals for the next steps in their career path. In many cases, Be Ready Enrichment Services provide individuals with a second chance to employment.
